Colonial Willamsburg Souvenir!!

Yesterday we went to Colonial Williamsburg and had a lot of fun. I decided that I wanted to get some kind of small souvenir because we hadn't gotten one yet (even though we have been there 2 times already). And I am sure you won't be surprised as to what I picked. We went to the little Colonial Garden shop!! And I found two really cool herbs that I couldn't pass up, actually I was completely freaking out as I was hugging tightly a bunch plants in my arms like they were going to run away or something. I couldn't decide for a while. But I ended up with ...drum roll please... Chocolate mint and Chamomile. I am so excited about both of them. They were only $5 each and pretty big. I am so excited. Did I mention I was excited. Last night I made mint tea out of the leaves, but I think I need to figure it out a little better. The Chamomile smells absolutely amazing and I am excited to harvest and propagate that someday. There was orange mint too and pomegranate...yes you heard right, they can grow pomegranates in Virginia. I was having a major excitement panic attack. The crazy thing is I have been trying to find a local nursery that sells unique herbs...and whala There it is. But it gets better. I went home and looked up some some videos on Chocolate mint and Chamomile and I came across a video that seriously was making me jump for joy. Apparently there is a farm really really close to our house, it grows all these unique specially plants for local restaurants in the area, and I really really want to visit them so badly I can hardly breathe. I hope that they are open to the public :)
